We started Third Coast Solar LLC in 2006 to address the growing demand for solar water heating in the Coastal Bend area.  Our past work experience and observation of rising energy costs convinced us that the age of economic and dependable solar water heating has finally arrived.

Our first project was the installation of a 30 gallon ProgressivTube water heating panel on Neil's house in combination with a tankless on-demand water heater.  On the unusual days when the Texas sun does not generate enough energy, the tankless heater kicks in to provide the hot water.  Since that time, we have worked on numerous projects in Victoria, Corpus Christi, the Rio Grande Valley and on South Padre Island.   

Neil McQueen, a graduate of Texas A&M University, has over 20 years experience in plant engineering, facilities management and environmental regulatory compliance in Texas and California.

Keeton Turner, a graduate of the University of Texas, has more than 30 years experience in the carpentry and construction trades in Texas and Florida.

Our combined practical experience allows us to design and implement projects that work the first time and at a reasonable cost.
